Abdulaziz Al Dhahri

Born to a military family with his grandfather already serving under King Ibn Saud, Abdulaziz was six years old when his father General Faleh Al Dhahri left his Saudi military base in the Northen city of Tabouk to accompany a unit of armored vehicles to the holy city of Mecca. When he grew up, Abdulaziz began asking questions to his father about what he did as "the first commander who fought against terrorists in the Kingdom". He has been meticulously collecting his father's recollections about the military operation and its aftermath for many years. But Saudi authorities never showed any interest in their documentation. Now, Abdulaziz and his father chose our film to tell their story for the first time.
